Located in the heart of Elliot Lake is Mount Dufour. Mount Dufour Ski Hill has a challenging 320 foot vertical drop with seven runs: three advanced, three intermediate and one beginner with it’s longest run measuring 3,000 ft. The hill is equipped with 100% snowmaking capability and is served by a quad chair lift, poma lift and a licensed chalet with fireplace, deck and snack bar. The Club offers weekend packages, equipment rentals, ski patrol and ski lessons and is open Wednesdays and weekends.

The Elliot Lake area offers endless opportunities to explore nature’s beauty on skis. Cross-country skiers can enjoy several groomed trails within the City limits and endless kilometers of ungroomed back country roads and trails.

The Spine Road Trail offers 5 separate loops of tracked groomed trails ranging in length from 3.5 to 15 kilometers to challenge the novice and expert alike. The fifth loop, a new addition to the trail system, is designed for the good intermediate skier wishing to update their skills to advanced.

The Milliken Mine Road Trails are designed for beginners and those who prefer to ski a flat groomed trail.

The Mount Dufour Trail system is another looped trail system. The length of the outer loop is approximately 20 km of ungroomed trail. The Jack Rabbit Trails, shown in green on the attached map, are for the more serious and advanced skiers.
